    Hello everybody!
    We do exist!
If you don’t know it yet, there are free classes held on Saturdays for students wishing to sit their Leaving Cert Russian. At the moment we have 2 groups. The classes are 2 hours in duration. One is for Russian-speaking students in 5th and 6th year (fluent and improvers) and we start at 10 am.
The other one is for complete beginners (they aren’t complete beginners now!), we started back in September and have had about 11 classes up to now. This group starts at 12 am. It’s not too late to join any of the groups!
This is a pilot project by the Post-Primary Languages Initiative and it seems to be very popular among the students! It’s the only opportunity for most of them to have some guidance in getting ready for the exam, in revising and learning the Russian grammar and in raising of the cultural awareness.
The students also learn about the structure of the exam and practice a lot in preparation for it, which definitely is the key to success!
